error message in menu frame of newly generated gem docs
http://rdoc.info/gems/traject/frames
In the left frame, where the menu should be, instead is a ruby fatal error message, the beginning of the stack trace goes like this:

Note, the error message is no longer visible -- I clicked on the 'no frames' version, then clicked on the 'index' link, then got another 'generating docs, this shoudln't take long' message, then when I went back to the frames version the menu frame would display again.
